all you need is ground cardamom, some black pepper (tellicherry is the best, but whatever you have in your kitchen will work fine), black tea, milk, and either honey or sugar for sweetener.
you put a little less than 1/4 teaspoon of the cardamom in your mug and sprinkle in some black pepper. not a lot, just a pinch will do. add hot water and the black tea, and let steep. once it looks good, add in two teaspoons of sugar or honey (of course, it's all to taste, but i've found that two teaspoons is a good medium to gauge from), and then lighten it with just a little milk. stir well since the spices like to settle, and then enjoy.
it tastes very similar to chai, so if you like that, you'll probably really love this alternative (i've tried to make homemade chai before and it takes a lot of effort. this is way easier). if the spice from the pepper bugs you out, it's okay to take it out and just have the sweetness, but i personally think the kick it gives the tea makes it better. it makes you feel that much warmer on a cold day. i would suggest trying it with at least once.
anyways, i hope you see this and try it sometime, and whether you like it or not, i just wanted to share it with a fellow avid tea drinker.

I just discovered your comics via Rene Engstrom this afteroon, read through the whole lot of them, and decided you are very possibly the coolest person alive. Prepare to be stalked and/or loved on.
